We begin Advent on the First Sunday in December and hope to have a packed calendar. There is a service for everyone, whether you are looking for Holy Communion in the church or something on Zoom, at St Matthias' you will enjoy celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and the joy of Christmas.

Advent is a season of expectation and preparation, as the Church prepares to celebrate the coming (adventus) of Christ in his incarnation, and also looks ahead to his final advent as judge at the end of time.
This year we will mark the beginning of Advent with an Advent Morning Prayer.
